Food for thought

Something beyond a thick fog and the Kensal Green tube station just made this morning interesting: a 10ton lorry, full of bricks, just came very fast down street from nowhere to prove I shouldn't victimize life so soon.
From the word go, or better, from the word "don't die now, man!", I turned down the radio, shutting up the amuzed BBC 4 Good Morning, the main reason for I didn't notice the lorry. Waiting for the bus during 5 minutes was time enough to consider how fragile life is and how much time we waste doing duties usually nonsense, but always practical for living in our way.
People normaly avoid talking about that and it's very difficult to have a nice and healthy debate and it's because it's easier just consider it's all right people dying of starvation, or children without future because the parents don't care about them, or rapes and crimes... daly lies and flatering smiles... most of the people think it is just on the newspapers and it's a pleasure to continue with an empty life.
It is a crime forgetting the one's life for convinience and, maybe worse than that, is bring other people inside the one's vicious circle of mediocrity with a fancy speech, carefully planned to be taken as possible and atractive.
Like in a game, there are always a target to reach and someone to fight against, competing for the glory of recognition of the talent. In the end, we want to be loved, but none want to beg for love, except who loves back deeply, but these people don't play, they live.
Unfortunatelly, life is not so easy as a game. Deceiving and telling lies seems to be simple, but nothing is more effective to who intend an unsteady life than adopting this behavior.
At the moment you understand life if very, very short and there's no time to waste with this depressing and childish mentality, you finaly will be able to understand people and respect their feelings.
Maybe if the conscient people organize protest in Trafalgar Square, with placards of "Out with the fear of think and feel!", and some naked dwarfs to attract the media, we could have some hope, or at least some laughs. So, let me pretend and laugh! It's all an endless comedy but always with the same old disgusting joke.
After all, it's a question of to be awake when the lorries are coming down the street.
